Warranty Policy

Most of our smart home products come with a 3- to 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.

No warranty is provided for RF devices, doorbells, or motion-detecting light bulbs.

3 months for Wifi/Bluetooth devices.

12 months for Smart Locks and Smart Curtain(motor only).

Warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects in electronic components or mechanical parts
  • Product malfunction under normal usage conditions
 

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, water exposure (including rain, humidity, or submersion), or force majeure events such as fire, flood, or lightning
  • Self-attempted repairs or third-party tampering or any unauthorised repairs or modifications
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scratches, fading, rust due to weather exposure)
  • Damage caused by improper installation not performed by an authorised installer
  • Battery leakage or damage caused by the use of non-recommended batteries in any battery-powered devices.
  • Forgotten passcodes or fingerprint recognition issues due to physical changes when using the smart lock
  • Loss or damage of physical keys or access cards for the smart lock.

Limitations of Liability

KT SMART SOLUTION (M) SDN. BHD. shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product, including but not limited to loss of property, data, or personal injury.

We are not responsible for any costs incurred in removing, uninstalling, transporting, or reinstalling the product to or from our service centre. These costs must be borne by the customer.

Terms & Modifications

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser. We reserve the right to modify the terms of this warranty at any time without prior notice.
