Can I control the switch when I am outside home?
Short answer: Yes, if the switch is a WiFi/cloud-connected model and is online.
Explanation
After the switch is paired to the supported app and connected to your home internet, you can control it from outside using your phone internet connection. Bluetooth-only devices or RF-only devices may not support remote control unless a compatible gateway is used.
