What is the difference between WiFi, Zigbee and RF smart switches?

Short answer: WiFi connects to router, Zigbee needs gateway, RF is local remote control.

Explanation

WiFi switches connect directly to your 2.4 GHz router. Zigbee switches require a compatible Zigbee gateway. RF switches are mainly for local remote control and do not provide internet control unless paired with a compatible smart hub system.
